I built a Facebook application to-do this http://apps.facebook.com/rssnewsfeedreader/ RSS News Feed Reader. This application allows you to view your Facebook News Feed from within your favorite RSS reader.

I'd probably use it. There was an application at some point that did this, but my feed, still somewhere in google reader, hasn't got anything for months.

I ended up taking this and adjusting it to use the mobile version of the feed. It works, but not the best.

I am seriously thinking of developing and hosting this as a supported application. It would be no charge but wanted to see who would be interested in using it. I think I would (not sure that is good enough). Gotta think though the username/password part probably will be part of the URL.

Wow, quick response. Hadn't heard of nambu before. Interesting. I really just want to be able to stick it in my google reader.

The whole thing is only hurting facebook for me. I never log in to facebook and check it. If they would just give me the news feed, I'm sure I'd click through plenty. Stupid walled garden...

So if I can sway you, I don't think you should wait for nambu :p

Yeah, it's definitely a tricky moving target to track - Personally, I'm thinking I might just hold out until Nambu provide Facebook support.
